Sunday morning and another perfect sunny day for a wedding fayre. Organised by the very talented Vicky & Craig fromDarlington Weddings. This time we are at the gorgeous Redworth Hall Hotelin County Durham. A familiar venue as it's near to the town where I grew up and I spent my college days waiting on tables at weekends in their amazing conservatory restaurant.
Redworth Hall Hotel is a beautiful Jacobean manor house set in 26 acres of stunning private grounds. As you make your way up the wonderful sweeping driveway the frontage appears through the trees, you know you have found the perfect venue for your wedding.
Redworth Hall has many function rooms available so couples wanting to tie the knot can choose an option which is perfect for their dream day:
The newly renovated Great Hall, built in the late 18th Century, epitomizes the hotel's great history with its wooden floors, oak wood panelling and two working grand stone fireplaces. It offers a romantic and charm-filled setting for between 80 and 120 guests.
The Prince Bishop Suite and the Surtrees Suite are both ideal for larger weddings. Decorated in rich colours and fabrics, these suites also benfit from a private bar and lounge area, giving your guests somewhere to relax away from the evening entertainment.
Alternatively, the Kelvington Suite is perfect for intimate weddings of up to 50 guests and can make a smaller celebration feel extra special, with the use of its private lounge area and courtyard garden.
Our stand for the day was situated in the Prince Bishop's Suite. A lovely large airy space and yet again we were spoilt with entertainment as we were opposite the magician Andy Larmouth.
